Safe Workplace, LLC provides general Policies for public viewing. Our goal is to provide a foundation for a healthy work environment in which people are treated with dignity, decency and respect. The work environment should consist of mutual trust and the absence of intimidation, oppression and exploitation. The work environment should be safe and stimulating. We offer detailed handbooks and Anti-Harassment Policy Manuals upon request.

Discrimination

Discrimination is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people based in whole or in part based on the person’s race, color, national origin, age, religion, disability status, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or marital status. There are also Federal, State and Local laws for anti-discrimination.

Harassment

Harassment is aggressive pressure, intimidation, or conduct to coerce an employee. Harassment can be physical, verbal or non-verbal.

Sexual Harassment

Sexual Harassment is a form of unlawful employment discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. There are several types of Sexual Harassment including "Quid pro quo" harassment and "Hostile work environment" harassment. Sexual harassment occurs when unsolicited and unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.

Retaliation

Retaliation is the act of returning an attack. Retaliation could be from a number of things like lodging a complaint or starting a complaint process.

Consensual Romantic or Sexual Relationships

Consensual Romantic Relationships do happen in the workplace unless it's prohibited by company policy. Even if these relationships are prohibited, employees will engage. Please talk to Safe Workplace, LLC regarding further Consensual Relationship policies.

Complaint Process

Safe Workplace, LLC provides a means and a method to start a complaint process. We offer Apps and Web/Mobile Websites to submit concerns. Human Resources can set policies in place as to what and how Safe Workplace, LLC integrates with your Human Resources software.

Confidentiality

Safe Workplace, LLC provides confidential counseling services to company employees at the approval of Human Resources. Individuals wishing to discuss an incident confidentially or seeking information and advice of a personal nature are encouraged to contact Safe Workplace, LLC.
